Questo pezzo è il risultato di una collaborazione esclusiva tra la natura e l’uomo, la bellezza della natura è ovviamente perfetta ed irragiungibile e spesso è timidamente nascosta all’occhio dell’osservatore poco attento. In questo lavoro ho cercato di tirar fuori ciò che mancava al legno stesso, l’idea è venuta spontaneamente dopo mesi che avevo sotto gli occhi questa bellissima radice, la quale risultava “amputata” per così dire, di un suo ramo, indispensabile per poter stare in piedi da sola, il materiale eletto è stata l’argilla: terra con qualcosa che dalla terra era nato, obbligatoriamente.
La lavorazione è stata tecnicamente molto impegnativa, oltre le mie possibilità, tanto che ho dovuto ricostruire il tutto per tre volte ex-novo. Il risultato è ovviamente stato ognuna delle tre le volte piuttosto diverso, il primo forse il migliore, infatti anche il più ispirato. Riuscire ad unire efficacemente i due pezzi e riuscire a mettere tutto in asse passando dentro il filo ha richiesto non pochi ragionamenti. In tutto 9 mesi di lavoro, foto comprese.

This artwork is the result of an exclusive collaboration between nature and man, the beauty of nature is obviously perfect and unattainable and often timidly hidden to the careless observer. In this work I have tried to bring out what was missing in the same wood, the idea came spontaneously after months that I was looking at this beautiful roots, which “amputated” appeared of a branch, this one essential to stand alone, the chosen material was clay: soil with something that was born from the soil, necessarily.
The work was technically very challenging, beyond my ability, so much so that I had to rebuild the whole thing three times from scratch. The result was obviously each of the three times rather different, the first perhaps the best, in fact even the most inspired. Being able to effectively combine the two pieces and be able to put everything on axis passing inside the wire has required a lot of reasonings. Throughout nine months of work, including photos.
